How much does a destination wedding photographer in Italy cost?

Coverage starts at € 1,699 for four hours. The most booked collection is Signature at € 3,499 for eight hours, and full days from getting ready to the last dance start at € 4,999. For weddings in Italy, travel and accommodation are added on top — usually € 500 to € 900. Multi-day celebrations are quoted individually.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. Vienna is my base and destination work is a large part of what I do — Rome, Tuscany, the Greek islands and across Europe. Travel and accommodation are quoted separately and covered by the couple. Whenever the timeline allows, I arrive a day early to walk the venue and see the light.

When should we book a destination wedding photographer?

For peak-season dates in Italy, twelve to eighteen months ahead is normal. I take on a maximum of 20 weddings a year, so summer Saturdays go early. Off-season and weekday celebrations often work with six months' notice. Send me your date and I will tell you honestly how it looks.

Do you photograph destination weddings in Italy?

Yes — Rome and Tuscany are the two places I return to most, alongside weddings elsewhere in Europe from my base in Vienna. I know how the light behaves at Italian venues in late afternoon, and I plan the timeline around it rather than working against it.
